Why Shop All Over When You Can Go To America’s Super Pawn?

I will draw the picture. Christmas is two months away and there are still some gifts on the list. Some of the items are a rod and reel, a luxury wrist watch, a complete home theater system, and a bicycle. The only constraint is that with a crazy schedule and all the holiday activities, all of this has to be done on the same day. To further make this task difficult, most of the items on the list are located at various retail outlets.

 The rod, reel and bicycle can be found at almost any sporting goods store. The particular reel that is on list has a regular price tag of $299, and the rod a price tag of $109. The bicycle has a price of $1199. Although, this store is only 7 miles from the house, it will take about 15 minutes to just get in the parking lot, with lights and traffic. Once you get into the store it could be another 15 minutes before you actually get someone to help find the items.

Now, for the complete home theater system you head to a local electronics store. Because of the new technology and everything going to 3D, you get lost between the cameras and cell phone covers. Eventually, after finding the glow of the Ultra High Resolution, Ultra Crisp, almost 3D TV, the shopping begins. With the need to be on the cutting edge of technology, the 46” LED TV costs $1299. The 3D BluRay player needed for movies is marked at $199. In order to hear everything, there is surround system that cost $599. The cables needed to connect everything together cost $50. Now the time spent shopping and the distance driving add up and part of the day is now gone.

Now comes to the fun part. The particular watch on the list must have certain parameters: 2-tone, mother of pearl face, and a diamond bezel, the kind of watch that makes royalty and presidents stop and take a second look. With this kind of timepiece, the price is about $6999. This particular store also offers financing. This all happens within 2 hours, and the day has slipped away.

Now everything totals up $10753. The sitting in the car and standing in store is about 8 hours. Although this is Christmas, you can’t be cheap when it comes to giving out love and this amount says LOVE!   

So now that I have a picture drawn, and you have reached for your wallet to make sure it is still safe, I would like to present a much less expensive way of getting the gifts on the list. It’s unconventional to many people and Hollywood makes it look distasteful, but shopping at America’s Super Pawn, the pawnshop I work at, could actually save most of the time, a good bit of the money, and provide a much more interesting shopping experience then most conventional stores.

The rod and reel cost about $200 which is half the new price and the bicycle would be marked at three- fourths the original price, $799. The entire home theater including cable to connect everything together would cost you right at $1000. Unlike the typical taboo of items being old and used, quit a few of the items in my store are in mint or close to mint condition. That watch on the list, I think I have something you will like that is in the neighborhood of $2500.

With a savings of about $6200 and about 6 hours of the day I don’t think there is much to debate. Aside from the fact that America’s Super Pawn doesn’t gift wrap, the experience is worth it. I think that only the jewelry store would come close to type of service where, just like Cheers, we are always glad to see you came. And by the way, the money you saved at America’s Super Pawn is burning holes in your pockets now, so go ahead and get that set golf clubs over in the corner. You now have time to play 18 holes!!!
